Requirements

*Dogs must be friendly and well socialized with other dogs. Please note that at this time I am not able to accommodate boarding or daycare for dogs that have exhibited aggressive behaviour towards other animals. 

*All dogs and cats over 8 months of age must be spayed or neutered. No exceptions. Pets under 8 months old cannot be accommodated during their heat cycle.

*Your pet must be current on vaccinations, including rabies. Puppies and kittens must have had a minimum of 2 rounds of vaccinations.  Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination for dogs is recommended, but is not required.  If your pet cannot be vaccinated for health reasons then a note from your veterinarian is required.

*A copy of CURRENT vaccine records must be provided PRIOR to a first booking being confirmed AND as vaccinations expire thereafter. No bookings will be confirmed without a vaccination certificate showing all required vaccines are up to date.

*The completed application form and consent/waiver form must be completed prior to a first booking being confirmed, and any time changes to your pet’s care are needed. These forms will be emailed to you when you request a booking. No bookings will be confirmed without these completed documents being provided.

*Your pet must be free of internal and external parasites and should be on appropriate tick/parasite prevention. Should your pet bring something like fleas onto the premises, you will be responsible to pay for treatment of ALL other animals residing on site or boarding. I strongly encourage you to have your pet on appropriate, veterinary prescribed flea and tick prevention and dewormer all year round, and on heartworm prevention at minimum during June-November.

*All health and/or behaviour issues must be disclosed in advance. This means BEFORE dropping your pet off for a scheduled stay!

*You must provide enough food for your pet’s entire stay. It is recommended that a couple of days extra worth of food is always provided, should something occur that causes your pet to need to stay longer than originally scheduled.
